Silat (Semeru) is an Indonesian martial art incorporating weapons defence skills and movement as an art. Silat focuses on speed and combat techniques. Doug is an excellent Instructor with knowledge in many weapons and martial arts styles. He makes the seminars, fun, engaging and most of all you leave having learned something.

Join us for women’s and girls self defence classes. Learn striking skills, self defence tactics, escapes, locks and holds and gain stress relief whilst hitting target pads.

Pay as you go. No membership, no uniform, no ongoing weekly commitment.

Fun, educational and empowering!

These classes are designed for all girls aged 8+ and women.

Womens Self Defence Seminar

A practical and fun self defence seminar for women. This seminar will teach basic self defence moves, learning safety in the streets and how you can better protect yourself in situations. Learn striking techniques, striking zones and hit some pads to build confidence.

This seminar is free, but we do ask for a gold coin donation to go towards the Cancer Council Victoria and the Kyoshi Andrew Roberts Foundation.
